North Wales Paragliding – March 2016
It’s the 31st of March today and I’ll look back at this month in this short blog entry.
Since I came back from Colombia, where I spent 2 weeks flying with professionals, I have been trying to fly as much as possible here in North Wales as well. I got myself a new gear, swapped wing and training bought slightly used/almost new BGD BASE as well as upgraded harness to Gin Genie Lite 2. I was surprised to find out that I did not need much time to adjust to much better performing wing. I’m still trying to find out how to efficiently get into the new pod harness, but I understand this will take some time and until now I have flown in it Eee for roughly 10 hours only.
What surprised me, was this whole Month. The flying conditions were not great, I did not do any XC, so all my flying was mostly ridge flying. of I have visited 5 different sites and flown all of them, cheap jerseys clocking up 11 hours and 45 minutes across 18 flights. Compare this to 2015, when I flown 8 times in March doing only 3:40 hours. There were days where it was completely over-blown, days, where it State was just too light (but I still managed to squeeze a flight!) and OK days, good for 1+ hours of ridge flying. For some of you, ridge flying might not sound very interesting, but it’s better than sitting at home and watching TV, isn’t it.
During this month, I have tried to use every opportunity which presented itself and went out, even though the conditions were not always favourable. And Athens I think, this is the key. UK is not the best country Потр?бн? for flying, but with a little bit of willingness, you can still achieve a lot, in my case it was almost cheap mlb jerseys 12 hours in 1 month, with what I’m very happy. Let’s see and if April will be as strong wholesale jerseys as March was!
